Shahnameh This personal website, reflects my writings and speeches. The aim is to offer a possibility for dialogue, exchange of views and critiques.
For many years my main concern in writing and dialogue has concentrated on four fundamental subjects; that is:
· Human being · Culture (Religion, Ethics, Global and Democratic Human Values) · People of Iran · Iranian territory
Although most of the contents of this website hold politico-philosophical approaches, nonetheless, the four mentioned subjects link together my writings and speeches.
The Website intends to provide a window of opportunity for open, informed and, hopefully, critical exchange of views with the ultimate goal of promoting dialogue and understanding – at two levels, among us Iranians and, also equally important, with non-Iranian interlocutors anywhere in the world with Iranian interests at heart. I look forward to hear from all those who care to engage in exchange of views and venture into an exercise of thinking together towards building – even through very small steps - a common enlightened and more humane future based on dialogue, understanding, tolerance, cooperation, and co-existence within a democratic and pluralistic ambiance. I consider it a good omen the coincidence of the event of ancient Norouz,- the beginning of spring and the herald of a new Iranian decade. I, therefore, convey my congratulation and best wishes together with hopes for development and progress of Iran in light of an expanding and deepening liberty, independence, human rights, democracy, peace and toleration in my beloved land.
